AMDA member Dr. Susan Levy, CMD, has become AMDA’s official liaison to The Joint Commission’s Professional and Technical Advisory Committee (the PTAC).

Dr. Levy will provide advice and make recommendations to The Joint Commission regarding new and revised standards and elements of performance, as well as current or anticipated developments in the field that may have standards implications. She also will offer advice about the educational needs of the field and offer suggestions concerning the development of new education programs, publications, and other media.
